Within the framework of the anniversary events in honour of the bicentenary of the National Uprising of 1821 and the related online lectures launched by the Holy Metropolitanate of Zakynthos through the “Truly” Cultural Centre of Discourse, on Clean Monday, March 15, 2021, at 8pm, Most Rev. Metropolitan Dionysios IV of Zakynthos delivered a lecture on the subject of “The contribution of Monasticism to the Greek Revolution of 1821”.
