The Special Synodic Committee of Cultural Identity of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece informs that the 3rd Panhellenic School Competition for the school year 2020-2021 will be continued until February 26, 2021, on the topic “Personalities of the Post-Revolutionary Period following 1821”.

The 3rd Panhellenic School Competition for the creation of a short film (up to six minutes long) by male and female students of the 2nd and 3rd grades of high school is organized by the Holy Synod through its Special Synodic Committee of Cultural Identity, and by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs by means of its Secretariat General of Religious Affairs.

The personalities highlighted in the post-revolutionary period following 1821 are Father Constantinos Oikonomou from among the Oikonomoi, Evanthia Cairi, Ioannis Capodistrias and Constantinos Kanaris.

The terms of participation figure on the following website of the Ministry of Education : https://www.minedu.gov.gr/gymnasio-m-2/mathites-gymnasiou/46784-23-10-20-3os-panellinios-mathitikos-diagonismos-dimiourgias-tainias-mikroy-mikous-me-thema-diakosia-xronia-apo-to-1824 and the pupils who will excel in it will be awarded a laudatory distinction. Healthcare conditions permitting, those selected for the final distinction will also be entitled to an educational trip to Pelion Mt. in May 2021 or, if this is not possible, will be offered a tablet.
