200 Years since the Greek Revolution –
Honouring the Heroes of 1821
In the context of the celebration events for the bicentenary of the outset of the Greek Revolution of 1821, the Holy Metropolitanate of Nea Krini & Kalamaria organizes a painting competition for pupils of primary schools and a competition of poetry, prose, video art creation, and music composition for students of all grades of high school. Specifically, the competition is addressed to students of primary and secondary education and encompasses the following areas:
• Painting Competition for primary school pupils
• Poetry and Prose Competition for High School students
• Digital Video Creation Competition for High School students
• Music Composition Competition for High School students.
The final deadline for the submission of applications and works is March 1, 2021.
• The works submitted will be assessed by an Artistic Panel of Judges;
• For each of the above categories a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize will be awarded;
• The 1st Prize in each category is accompanied by a pecuniary awards of 150 euro;
• The works distinguished will be presented within the framework of the “Eugeneia 2021”;
• Commemorative diplomas of participation will be awarded to all applicants.
