Wednesday, March 24
18h00 | Solemn Archieratical Vespers in the Holy Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Mother of God of Lamia, with Most Rev. Metropolitan Symeon officiating.
Solemn address on the subject: “The Virgin Mary as model of true freedom” delivered by the Holy Protosynkellos of the Holy Metropolitanate, Very Rev. Archimandrite Father Anghelos Anthopoulos.
Thursday, March 25
Morning | Archieratical Divine Liturgy in the Holy Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Mother of God of Lamia, with Most Rev. Metropolitan Symeon of Phthiotis officiating. Public message of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece for the feast of the Annunciation of Mother of God and the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution of March 25, 1821. Solemn Doxology for the National Feast Day.
Subsequently, the Most Rev. Metropolitan will proceed to the cenotaph of the National Martyr and Fighter Athanassios Diakos in the city of Lamia, to which he will genuflect as a sign of respect, perform a Memorial Service, and pay tribute to the statue of Athanassios Diakos on the eponymous square of Lamia.
18h00 | Festive music event in the Auditorium of the Cultural and Administrative Centre of the Holy Metropolitanate of Phthiotis in Lamia by the teachers and students of the “GHERMANOS THE MELODIST” Conservatoire of our Metropolitanate, in the presence of Most Rev. Metropolitan Symeon of Phthiotis.

18h00 | Church High-school of Lamia. Festive event on the topic of the “Priestly Training in the years of the Turkish Rule”, also integrated in the framework of the Week of Priestly Vocations, in the presence of Most Rev. Metropolitan Symeon of Phthiotis.
