On Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 20h, the Church of Greece honours the bicentenary of the 1821 Revolution by organising a grand concert in the Callimarmaron Panathinaikon Stadium with songs by modern Greek composers dedicated to that great event. Twenty-six (26) choirs of children and youth from churches belonging to Holy Metropolitanates and from local communities all around Greece, with the participation of select artists, will flood the terraces with singing about the history and the future of our fatherland. The event is co-organised with the Region of Attica.

Three newly founded Music Ensembles of the Church of Greece and prominent Greek singers and actors / actresses will contribute.

All the measures stipulated for the protection of both the choir members and the public from Covid-19 will be observed, this is why one half of seats of each terrace will be available (rows alternately available) as well as half of the seats of each row .

Entrance to the stadium for the check of the tickets will start at 18h of September 11 for the public.

The painting on the poster of the concert was specially created for the event by the painter and icon painter Mr Gheorghios Bozas .
