A Service for the bicentenary of the liberation of our Fatherland

Within the context of the celebrations of the bicentenary of the outset of the Greek Revolution, events of worship and Doxologies in all the Cathedrals of the Holy Metropolitanates are carried out.

During the Doxology both on the 24^th and on the 25^th of March 2021, a special Service and prayer will be read out for the bicentenary of the Liberation of our Fatherland, composed by Most Rev. Metropolitan Ioel of Edessa, Pella and Almopia.

Moreover, on the 25^th of March, an Encyclical of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece regarding the great anniversary will be read out in all the holy churches.
