Within the framework of the celebration for the celebration of the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution of 1821, the Holy Metropolitanate of Paronaxia honours the contribution of our Most Holy Church to the preparation and success of the Revolution and launches a video spot on the two events dedicated to the late Metropolitan Ierotheos Aristarchou of Paronaxia, Fighter of the Revolution, and to the heroic figure of Mado Mavroghenous, who lived for many years on the island of Paros, died there and was buried in the courtyard of BVM Ekatontapyliani.

For more about Ierotheos Aristarchou see here and about Mado Mavroghenous here.
